Its participants are more than 300 students from educational institutions sponsored by law enforcement agencies. The guys passed the GTO standards and competed in the race of heroes. They could also get acquainted with the weapons and ammunition of the police. Last year, the Dynamo society celebrated its 100th anniversary, when such competitions were organized for the first time. The festival opened brightly. Cheerleading, dancing, honor guard performance and martial arts demonstration. After the solemn ceremony and greeting of the guests, the children who distinguished themselves last year were awarded. The head of the region, Mikhail Evraev, personally presented them with badges of honor.
This year, the first municipal stage of the competition took place in March. Teams for regional training camps were formed from the guys who showed the best personal results in the GTO complex.
Ruslan Seidov:
“Everything is fine, I wanted to do 15 pull-ups, but they almost didn’t count. Because he crossed his legs and did not linger at the top and bottom. I was in a hurry and made mistakes. And I passed it just fine.”
Daria Fateeva:
“I did it 50 times. Well, it’s difficult. This is probably the first time that everything hurts so much. I’ve never tried, but now I decided to try really hard.”
The GTO complex includes a dozen different exercises; the guys passed the standards throughout the year. Today they demonstrated running, long jumping, pull-ups, and shooting.
Gleb Dvornichenko, chief judge:
“Guys are assessed on a special scale. According to the 100-point table. These types are given a general standard, so the overall result for each type is summed up and everything is summed up.”
Today the “Race of Heroes” took place for experienced Dynamo players. Two crossbars, a rope ladder, a monkey bars and a vertical wall – this is not the entire list of obstacles that the guys had to overcome on the non-standard course.
Vladimir Balandin:
“The route is difficult, few people can pass it, I think. The most difficult thing about this route, I think, is the board, which is at an angle, and you have to make a two-way exit through it. This is a very difficult acrobatic element, especially considering that you cannot swing there. Because the board blocks your legs.”
Igor Shevchenko, correspondent:
“Well, after fulfilling all sports standards, everyone can try on real combat ammunition. They just handed me a real bulletproof vest. It looks big, but it weighs about the same as a winter sheepskin coat or fur coat.”
Experts note the special importance of such sporting events.
Alexander Kumanyaev, head of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Yaroslavl region:
“We hold these events as not only a sports festival, but also as an information and educational platform, where we set up and educate children in a sports-patriotic spirit, preserve traditional values and, of course, formulate their civic responsibility.”

“This is one of the priorities of working with the guys. So that our youth grow up patriotic, athletic, strong. In the spirit of respect for traditions, we could develop the country and defend the country.”
The winners of the “Race of Heroes” received gold “Leader” badges, silver “Activist” badges and “Participant of the Young Dynamo Project” badges.
