On May 5 at 17:00 at the Ruslan Palace of Culture, the Ulyanovsk State Academic Symphony Orchestra “Governor” will perform the music of the great romantic composers, whose works form the basis of the world concert repertoire. The orchestra will perform under the direction of the conductor of the Voronezh Academic Symphony Orchestra, Honored Artist of the Voronezh Region Igor Verbitsky.
On the day of Christ’s Resurrection, the concert program will feature music by romantic composers, each composition of which, from the first to the last note, conveys an atmosphere of spiritual harmony, in tune with the mood of the holiday.
In a programme:
– Wagner R. Introduction from the opera “Parsifal”;
– Glinka M. Music for the Puppeteer’s tragedy “Prince Kholmsky”;
– Rimsky-Korsakov N. Musical scenes (suite) from the opera “The Tale of the Invisible City of Kitezh”;
– Borodin A. “In the Monastery” and “Dreams” from “Little Suite” orchestrated by Glazunov;
– Mussorgsky M. “Dawn on the Moscow River”;
– Rachmaninov S. “Bright Holiday” from Suite No. 1 for two pianos, orchestrated by Y. Butsko.
