The final stage of the youth first aid championship “Right to Live!” will be held at the Pushkin Leningrad State University. The event will take place on April 27.

“The championship is part of the national comprehensive program of first aid activities of the government of St. Petersburg and is held with grant support from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). The goal is to increase the level of practical skills in the field of first aid among young people, as well as to popularize knowledge about first aid and the formation of civic responsibility and mercy,” noted the youth policy committee.

Before the final, there was a qualifying stage where teams were tested online. The children were tested on their knowledge of the theoretical principles of first aid. In total, 25 teams from schools, colleges and universities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region participated.

At the final stage, the ten best teams will demonstrate practical skills. They will have to solve ten situational problems. The winners will be awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
