On April 26, the closing ceremony of the VIII Regional Championship on professional skills among disabled people and persons with disabilities “Abilimpix” took place at the Tula College of Social Technologies. This event, included in the federal project “Professionalism,” brought together 275 participants from various educational institutions in the region.
Under the patronage of Elena Maklina, director of the department of secondary vocational education, training and development of teaching and management personnel of the Ministry of Education of the Tula region, the championship was held from April 22 to 27.
This year was the largest in the history of the competition, where participants competed in 34 competencies, including new areas such as “Drawing pictures with plasticine”, “Assistant trainer” and “Making a patchwork doll”.
At the closing ceremony, a photo zone, an interactive photo exhibition “Abylympics: Opportunities in the Lens”, as well as presentations “Bright people of Abilympics” and “Development of the Abilympics movement in the Tula region” were organized. A day of counseling for graduates on career guidance and employment issues called “Region of Opportunities” was also held.
