More than 200 Irkutsk residents tidied up Thomson’s garden – Irkutsk Today

In the Leninsky district of Irkutsk, a cleanup day was held on the territory of the Thomson Garden. More than 200 participants took part in it. These are students from schools No. 7, 67, 68 and 45, silver volunteers, representatives of the Irkutsk regional branch of the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation, the Irkutsk city public organization “Children’s Ecological Union” and employees of the city administration.

The park area was cleared of debris, branches and boards, significantly improving its environmental condition, the press service of the city mayor’s office reported.

Let us remind you that earlier “Thomson’s Garden” was landscaped under the “Housing and Urban Environment” project. It is currently represented in the ranked vote for the 2025 improvement projects.
