The Vichuga interdistrict prosecutor’s office approved an indictment against the former general director of Vichuga City Electric Network OJSC. He is accused of embezzlement of money, committed using his official position, on an especially large scale. The prosecutor’s office of the Ivanovo region reported this on Friday, April 26.

According to the department’s press service, according to investigators, from November 2013 to December 2021, the accused, violating the grounds and procedure for bonuses, monthly included himself in reward orders, which he signed personally. In this way, he embezzled the company’s funds in the amount of more than 4,000,000 rubles.

“The criminal case will be sent to the Vichuga City Court for consideration on the merits,” the message says.

Earlier, Izvestia.ru wrote that in the Rodnikovsky district, the head of the post office was convicted of stealing more than a million rubles.
