Russia received the bodies of 36 dead servicemen, RBC reported on April 26, citing State Duma deputy and representative of the parliamentary coordination group on military operations Shamsail Saraliev.
Kyiv reported that it had returned the bodies of 140 of its military personnel, reports the Ukrainian coordination headquarters for working with prisoners of war. Of these, 112 servicemen died in the Donetsk direction, 20 in Lugansk, five in Sumy, and two in Zaporozhye and Kherson. They are promised to be handed over to families for burial as soon as the identification process is completed.
The last exchange took place on the 12th, when 99 bodies were transferred to Ukraine and 23 to Russia.
