Prosecution, resignation, recommendations and other results of the April session of the KCC

The Qualification Board of Judges of the Ivanovo Region, at its regular meeting on April 24, 2024, agreed to engage retired judge Larisa Sterkhova to act as a judge of the Shuisky City Court of the Ivanovo Region for a period of up to one year in the manner prescribed by Art. 7.1 of the Law of the Russian Federation “On the status of judges in the Russian Federation”.

Recommended candidates for vacant judicial positions:

– Lyubov Abkhadeeva – to the position of magistrate of judicial district No. 3 of the Frunzensky judicial district of Ivanovo;

– Natalya Malysheva – to the position of magistrate judge of judicial district No. 2 of the Furmanovsky judicial district of the Ivanovo region.

Consideration of Oksana Ivanova’s application for a recommendation for the vacant position of judge of the Puchezhsky District Court of the Ivanovo Region has been postponed.

The CCJ considered the commission’s conclusion based on the results of an audit of the appeal of the acting chairman of the Ivanovo Regional Court, Anton Kolosov, about the presence of signs of a disciplinary offense in the actions of the magistrate of the judicial district No. 7 of the Leninsky judicial district of Ivanovo, Oksana Seliverstova. As a result, Ms. Seliverstova was brought to disciplinary liability.

Qualification certification of judges was carried out. The next qualification classes were awarded to Judge of the Ivanovo Regional Court Ekaterina Artemenko, Judge of the Ivanovo District Court Nadezhda Marikhova, Judge of the Shuya City Court Anna Bordashevskaya. The Chairman of the Kineshma City Court, Pavel Sirotkin, and the Justice of the Peace of the judicial district No. 2 of the Kineshma Judicial District of the Ivanovo Region, Oleg Novikov, were retained in the previously assigned qualification classes, which are the maximum for the positions being filled.

The consideration of applications for qualification certification regarding the judge of the Ivanovo District Court Vitaly Kornilov, as well as the judges of the Arbitration Court of the Ivanovo Region Konstantin Timoshkin and Svetlana Makarova, has been postponed. The application for qualification certification in relation to Olga Silina, the magistrate judge of judicial district No. 5 of the Kineshma judicial district of the Ivanovo region, was withdrawn.

In connection with the written resignation, the KKS terminated the powers of the judge of the Frunzensky District Court of Ivanovo, Elena Vlasova. And again, in connection with a written statement, the resignation of Stanislav Lipinsky, the magistrate judge of judicial district No. 2 of the Ivanovo judicial district of the Ivanovo region, was terminated.
