A resident of Magadan was caught stealing goods from a cosmetics store.

April 27. Employees of the city police department established that a previously convicted 21-year-old local resident tried to steal goods from a cosmetics and perfumery store on Dzerzhinsky Street. The girl failed to commit the theft because her actions were stopped by employees of the retail outlet, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Magadan Region told MagadanMedia.

A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted theft).

The defendant is currently under house arrest. A number of criminal cases of theft of property are being investigated against her.

A total of 104 incidents and crimes were reported over the past 24 hours. 15 people were brought to duty stations for various offenses.
