In an Astrakhan village, a bus drove over a boy’s legs

A little Astrakhan resident found himself under the wheels of a passenger bus. The child received multiple injuries. The prosecutor’s office began an investigation into this fact.

This serious accident occurred on April 26, 2024 in the village of Liman. At an uncontrolled intersection, the bus driver hit a minor who, according to preliminary data, was running across the roadway. The footage of the video published in one of the telegram channels shows that the vehicle literally drove its wheels over the boy’s legs. Eyewitnesses helped the student get out from under the bus. They called an ambulance.

“The circumstances of the incident are being clarified. Acting district prosecutor Valentina Pavlova went to the scene of the incident. An assessment will also be made of compliance with road safety legislation and the fulfillment by legal representatives of the responsibility for raising children“- reported the prosecutor’s office of the Astrakhan region.

As the press service of the Silishcheva Children’s Clinical Hospital reported, citing doctors from the Liman regional hospital, the boy suffered bruises, fractures, ruptures and painful shock. He should soon be transported by air ambulance helicopter to a medical facility in Astrakhan.
