At the 62nd regular meeting of the Irkutsk Duma on April 25, adjustments to the city budget were approved.
– In 2024, revenue is expected to increase by 2 billion 667 million rubles, which is due to an increase in the volume of interbudgetary transfers and the forecast of tax and non-tax revenues. We will use these funds to improve the urban environment, implement infrastructure projects and provide housing for young families,” noted the head of the regional center Ruslan Bolotov.
– More than 800 million rubles are additionally provided for supporting the activities of municipal institutions: remuneration of public sector employees in connection with the increase in the minimum wage, as well as for carrying out repairs and equipment. About 600 million rubles – for the construction and reconstruction of social facilities: schools, kindergartens, design of sports facilities, – said the chairman of the committee on budget policy and finance of the Irkutsk administration Alfiya Valiulina.
She said that more than 1.5 billion rubles will be spent on the functioning of the city economy, including the maintenance and repair of highways, the organization of regular passenger transportation, the improvement of courtyard areas and public spaces, the installation, repair, maintenance and maintenance of outdoor lighting lines, construction of engineering infrastructure facilities.
Also, 4.5 million rubles will be allocated for new measures of social support for participants in the special military operation. Members of their families will be able to receive compensation for travel expenses on public transport, and children can relax for free in summer health camps, the press service reports. administration of Irkutsk.
Taking into account the adopted adjustment, budget revenues for 2024 amounted to 38 billion 282 million rubles, expenses – 40 billion 682 million rubles. The deficit is 2 billion 400 million rubles. The balance of funds accumulated at the beginning of the year in the single budget account, as well as municipal borrowings, will be used to cover the deficit.
“The planned adjustment included funds for important events that are aimed at ensuring a comfortable life for our citizens. This is financing social support measures for the families of SVO participants, indexing salaries for employees of municipal institutions, landscaping, and road repairs. We focused on the work that Irkutsk residents asked for in their requests,” the Chairman of the Duma emphasized Evgeniy Stekachev.
