The world is now in conditions of necessary international dialogue, Mogilevsky pointed out

MOSCOW, April 26, FederalPress. The international conference “The Transition to Multipolarity and the Formation of a New World Order” is being held in Moscow on April 26 and 27. Chairman of the Russian Historical Society Sergei Naryshkin addressed the Russian scientists and their foreign guests with a welcoming speech. The opening of the conference began with his welcoming words.

The addresses were read by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky.

“For a long time, the world order was determined by a group of colonial countries. It has not learned any lessons from world disasters and wars and is still trying to pursue its globalist policy in the 21st century. Nevertheless, other countries are trying to build relations on respect in a multipolar world. I am confident that the conference will allow us to raise important issues of the new world order,” the head of the Russian Military Historical Society conveyed Naryshkin’s words to the participants.

The conference will include a presentation and discussion of the document by Russian and foreign experts the concept of a multipolar world, which will reflect the main trends of the modern period in the development of international relations and world politics. The concept will summarize the results of the international scientific conference “Formation and change of international political systems” held on October 9–10, 2023 in Moscow. Experience of history for the modern world order.”

“It is very important for us that scientific cooperation includes a humanitarian component. We see a certain bias in scientific and technical areas, but changes in the world are fundamental in nature and require humanitarian understanding,” Mogilevsky noted in his speech.

He noted the timeliness of the conference, since the world is now in conditions of necessary international dialogue.

“We have to discuss how social systems have changed over the past hundreds of years, and this has often not gone smoothly. It is very important that a civilizational dialogue takes place and that not only politicians, but also scientists take part in it,” concluded the Deputy Minister of Science.
