In the Kaluga region, prices for beets and potatoes have risen. This was announced today, April 26, at a meeting of the headquarters for monitoring food prices, which was chaired by Deputy Minister – Head of the Public Procurement Department of Competition Policy of the Kaluga Region Sergei Cherikanov

Over the past week, prices for cucumbers decreased – by 1.88%, chicken eggs – by 1.64%, sunflower oil – by 1.23%, chilled and frozen chicken – by 1.2%, cookies – by 1.13% , granulated sugar – 0.93%.

At the same time, prices for beets increased by 5.14%, potatoes – by 3.24%, millet – by 1.80%, tomatoes – by 1.75%, white cabbage – by 1.51%.

Over the past week, in the Kaluga region, among neighboring regions, the lowest prices were observed for chilled and frozen chickens, sunflower oil, sterilized whole drinking milk 2.5-3.3% fat, powdered milk mixtures for baby food, canned vegetables for baby food, sugar -sand, table salt, buckwheat kernels, apples, bananas.

There are no cases of shortages of individual goods in the region.

Wholesale prices for gasoline decreased by 0.48%, and for diesel fuel – by 0.68%. Retail prices for gasoline increased by 0.23%, and for diesel fuel increased by 0.16%.

In the ranking of minimum retail prices for petroleum products among the constituent entities of the Central Federal District, the Kaluga Region took 2nd place for motor gasoline (52.95 rubles/l) and 4th place for diesel fuel (60.29 rubles/l).
