In Ulyanovsk, former labor migrants were registered with the military / 73online.ru

On Friday, April 26, a raid took place in the Leninsky district, during which former migrants, and now citizens of the Russian Federation, were given summonses to the military registration and enlistment office.

Employees of the military investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Ulyanovsk garrison with colleagues from relevant departments went to retail outlets and construction sites.

Law enforcement officers identified former labor migrants who recently received citizenship. The men were taken to the military commissariat for military registration and execution of the relevant documents.

During the raid, they found foreigners living in Ulyanovsk without permits. They were handed over to representatives of the migration service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for processing the relevant documents and, if there are grounds, expulsion from the Russian Federation.

The department assured that work in this area is being carried out systematically by military investigators and raids will continue.
