The attackers stole metal worth 1.2 million rubles from the territory of the Voronezh enterprise

The police of the Voronezh region detained four employees of the plant who removed 13 tons of non-ferrous metal from the territory of the enterprise. They were going to sell him.

One of the four detainees was a 61-year-old deputy shop manager. He made it easier for the truck to pass through the checkpoint and misled the enterprise security.

Three of his accomplices worked as drivers at the same company.

The scammers were going to hand over all this to non-ferrous metal collection points, but did not have time to do this: they were caught by the police, who discovered someone else’s property worth 1.2 million rubles. Moreover, during a search on the territory of the scrap metal collection point, only part of the stolen metal was found.

– The police investigation opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for punishment for theft on an especially large scale, with a maximum term of imprisonment of up to 10 years. At the moment, the suspects are in custody, and they are faced with the question of choosing a preventive measure, the police said.
