On April 25 at 21:15 in Kokhma, at the unregulated intersection of Kokhomskoye Highway – 70th Anniversary of Victory Avenue, a 38-year-old taxi driver driving a Hyundai Solaris collided with a VAZ-211440 car. The foreign car was turning left. The Lada was moving in the oncoming lane.

As a result of the collision, an 18-year-old passenger in a domestic car and his 19-year-old driver received head injuries and were taken to a regional hospital. The driver of the Hyundai and his 26-year-old passenger also needed medical help. They were also taken to a medical facility.

None of the passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. Drivers are sober. However, the person driving the foreign car does not have a driver’s license of the Russian Federation. Traffic police officers drew up administrative protocols, reports the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Ivanovo region.
