Author of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “TAMBOV” The ensemble of Russian folk instruments presented the debut program to residents and guests of Tambov.Tambov” As a visual accompaniment, the artists chose a presentation that is non-standard for our region.
For two days already, a miracle has been happening on the stage of the Tambov Museum of Local Lore. The Tambov ensemble presents a new program in an unexpected creative partnership with a sand animation artist from St. Petersburg.
The ensemble chose Stravinsky as its repertoire part. The music was written by the composer for a huge symphony orchestra, but in the arrangement of the artist Stepan Kochetov, the program organically fit into the ensemble of 6 people.
Previously, the melody was dominant. Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky also took this tradition. And Stravinsky, when he wrote “The Rite of Spring,” he introduced a new detail, made rhythm dominant,

At the same time, the domra part appears unexpectedly harmonious and lyrical in the program.

I have not yet worked with Stravinsky in the sand animation genre. But I know the music. I went to the Mariinsky Theater to see the ballet “The Rite of Spring” and, of course, the music impressed me very much. This is not improvisation, as many people think, this is preparation in my sand animation workshop,
