The Eurasian International University is going to build a campus in Lomonosov in the Petrodvortsovy district of St. Petersburg. The volume of investment in the project will be 48 billion rubles.
The rector of the university and chairman of the board of directors of the Lomonosov Campus corporation, Konstantin Klimenko, said that buildings had already been purchased as part of the project for 400 million rubles. Their renovation will begin in May.
The first campus building may open by September 1, 2024. There will be advanced training courses, teaching foreign languages and training for foreign students, Vedomosti reports.
In addition, it is expected that new buildings will be built. The overall campus project includes a university, a maritime academy, a medical school, a college, and a cadet school.
It is noted that the project is being implemented in cooperation with the BRICS countries. Companies from China, India and the UAE participate in it.
