Dmitry Bystrov met with participants of the All-Russian competition “History of local government of my region”

The head of the Ostrovsky district, Dmitry Bystrov, met with participants in the All-Russian competition “History of local self-government of my region,” the newspaper “Ostrovskie Vesti” writes.

The competition was held in Moscow from April 14 to 17 and was timed to coincide with Local Government Day. Students of the Ostrovsky gymnasium presented their performances in the “Leaders of Local Government” category.

Gymnasium student Kirill Garanin was awarded a III degree diploma and recognized as the winner of the competition in the “video clips” section in the age category 14-17 years old, Alina Kuzmina was also awarded a III degree diploma and the title of winner in the same section, Ksenia Maksimova was noted as an active participant in the competition, they wrote in the publication.

Dmitry Bystrov asked the guys about their impressions of the trip and shared his experience of public speaking, and also gave recommendations on how to behave in front of an audience and present projects. He wished the children successful studies and the right choice of profession.

In addition, at the ceremony at the Ostrovsky gymnasium, the winners were congratulated by the head of the education department of the Ostrovsky district, Alexey Vasilyev, and presented them with letters of gratitude from the municipality.
