Magadan Children’s Choir School celebrates its 35th anniversary

April 27. In the anniversary year for Magadan, round dates are celebrated by cultural institutions of the regional center. Thus, the Children’s Music School celebrated its 75th anniversary with a reporting concert the day before, and now teachers, students and their parents and friends have gathered together to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Children’s Choir School, the press service of the Magadan City Hall told MagadanMedia.

The deputy mayor of the city, Yuri Kazetov, congratulated the staff of the institution on the anniversary. He conveyed a memorial address from the mayor of the city to the director of the choir school, Olga Zyryanova.

The institution’s students are laureates and prize-winners of city, regional, all-Russian and international show jumping competitions and festivals. They represent worthily in prestigious international competitions: “Winter Riviera”, “Silver Voice”, “Sanremo Stars”.

Not a single city event is complete without the children from the Choir School. They take an active part in the “Patriotic Song”, festivals of popular classical music, folk art, and children’s choirs. Every year, the best of the best become scholarship recipients of the mayor of Magadan and the regional governor.

The reporting concert “Just Live” was held on the small stage of the Culture Center. In it, students showed the final result of their work for the year. The participants of the festive event were the winners of various competitions and festivals, soloists and school graduates.
