The Tyumen region is actively preparing to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. Residents and guests of the city of Tyumen will be able to attend concert programs, as well as museum lessons and exhibitions, reports the information center of the government of the Tyumen region.
The main festive events in the regional capital will be the “Great Patriotic War” excursion, conducted by the “Russia – My History” Historical Park, as well as the “Victory May Waltz” with the participation of a brass band. You can visit these events from May 3 to May 12 and May 4, respectively. And on the eve of the holiday, Tyumen residents can join the “Let’s paint the car with the colors of Victory” campaign.
Directly on May 9, several festive programs will be held in the squares of the 65th anniversary of the Victory, Cossack Meadows, Deputies, Komsomolsky and on the square near the Tyumen Technopark. On the Square of Memory and the 400th Anniversary of Tyumen, TVVIKU cadets will hold ceremonial events.
At the Tyumen Puppet Theater, actors will perform the play “Soldier’s Edge,” and at the City Duma Museum, everyone will be able to attend the “Tyumen-War-Great-Victory” excursion.
Let us remind you that there will be no fireworks display on the embankment in honor of May 9 this year.
