The protective structure, located in the Kalacheevsky district, will return to state ownership. Previously, the shelter fell into the hands of a private owner, but the Federal Property Management Agency protested this decision.

The press service of the Voronezh Regional Court said that the controversial bomb shelter is located in the city of Kalach. At the moment, its owners are three local residents who were somehow able to privatize the premises. Moreover, at the time of the transaction, the shelter had the status of a protective structure for civil defense.

Lawyers from the Federal Property Management Agency tried to prove this fact in the district court, but in February the judge rejected the organization’s claim. After this, the plaintiffs filed an appeal to the regional court, where the inconsistency of privatization was proven. After all, according to the law, such structures cannot be transferred to private ownership.
