Magadan rescuers were congratulated on the 375th anniversary of the Russian Fire Department

A ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 375th anniversary of the Russian Fire Department was held in the classroom of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Magadan Region. The head of the Main Directorate, Lyubomir Mukha, congratulated the personnel on the upcoming holiday and noted the importance of the work of the fire and rescue units, thanked the personnel for their steadfastness and endurance, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for the Magadaska region told MagadanMedia.

As part of the ceremonial meeting, the personnel were awarded certificates, medals and regular special titles. In addition to this, the winners of the drawing competition “Safety through the eyes of children” were awarded.

After the official part, the invited children and their parents were given a tour of the department, told about fire department veterans and the department’s sporting achievements.
