April 27. While monitoring social networks, in the chat bot “DPS Bot Magadan report a drunk driver” – @GIBDD_49_BOT, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Magadan Region discovered video materials containing gross violations of the Traffic Rules, such as drivers using a phone while driving a vehicle (12.36 .1 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and driving against a prohibiting traffic light signal (Article 12.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), reported MagadanMedia news agency in the propaganda department of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Magadan Region.

During the inspection, the violators were identified and brought to administrative responsibility. Thus, in relation to the 22-year-old driver of a Toyota Chaser, material was compiled under Part 1 of Art. 12.12 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The young man was sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of one thousand rubles.

In addition, two materials were compiled under Art. 12.36.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation – drivers of minibuses and buses were sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of 1,500 rubles.

The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Magadan Region calls on all road users to strictly observe traffic rules and reminds them of responsibility for violating them.
