Ryazan forests will be treated for gypsy moths in late May – early June

Treatment of Ryazan forests against gypsy moths will be carried out in late May – early June. The Ministry of Natural Resources reported this in response to a question from users on Governor Pavel Malkov’s VKontakte page.

“Measures to suppress the number of gypsy moths will take place in the plantings of Klepikovsky, Kriushinsky, Solotchinsky, Spassky and Tumsky forestries on a total area of ​​5,613 hectares,” the ministry clarified.

Areas for treatment were selected on the recommendation of Roslezaschita. Earlier, the head of the region, Pavel Malkov, also raised the topic of treating forests and green areas in the city from pests on a live broadcast with residents.
