“Tomsk residents are warned about a temporary change in traffic patterns on May 9 in connection with the celebration of Victory Day. Thus, from 00.00 to 18.00, traffic will be blocked along Lenin Avenue – from Frunze Avenue to Moskovsky Trakt Street, along Sportivny Lane – from Lenin Avenue to Sovetskaya Street, along Gagarin Street – from Frunze Avenue to Sportivny Lane,” the message says.

It is clarified that from 05.00 to 14.00 traffic will also be limited along Lenin Avenue from Belentsa Street (without stopping traffic on it) to Nakhimov Street; along Trifonova Street (from Lenin Avenue to Istochnaya Street); along Frunze Avenue (from Lenin Avenue to Gagarin Street); along the Moscow Highway (from Lenin Avenue to Bazarny Lane).

At the same time, traffic will be blocked on sections of Herzen streets (from Lenin Avenue to Kuznetsov Street), Kartashov, Kirov Avenue, Usov (from Lenin Avenue to Sovetskaya), Arkady Ivanov (from Lenin Avenue to Moskovsky Trakt), Timakov (from Lenin Avenue to Karpov), Uchebnaya (from Sovetskaya to the Moscow tract), Savinykh (from Sovetskaya to Karpov) and Sovetskaya (from Savinykh to Nakhimov).

“There will be restrictions on Nakhimov in the area from the Moskovsky tract to Vershinina Street. Entry from Nakhimov Street (in the parking area at the main entrance to the Camp Garden) will also be limited to the section of the road network leading to Yuzhny Lane and the entrance to the Pobeda sports complex.” , adds the press service.

The traffic closure on Sovetskaya Street (from Frunze Avenue to Herzen Street) will be longer – from 05.00 to 18.00. During the same period, trams will not run along Sovetskaya.
