Events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War are organized by various cultural and leisure institutions in the Sovetsky district.
Throughout the week until May 9, volunteers will distribute St. George ribbons in different parts of the region.
May 8 at 15.00 on the site in front of the NSU campus (Pirogov St., 2) a cultural and historical program will be held, at 18.30 in the foyer of the Small Hall of the House of Scientists (Morskoy Ave., 23) – a concert of choral music “About the Motherland, Valor, Glory!”
You can join the all-Russian “Candle of Memory” campaign May 8 at 22.00 at two sites in the area: on the right bank – at the monument to the waltzing couple near the Academy Palace of Culture (Ilyich St., 4), on the left bank – at the monument to the liberator warrior “Alyosha the Siberian” (Novomorskaya St., 14).
9th May At 10 o’clock, rallies dedicated to the celebration of the Great Victory will take place near the Academy and on the embankment near the monument.
In the House of Culture “Academy“They are also organizing the folk festival “Rejoice, Victorious Spring!”, it will begin at 11.00, at 13.30 – a performance by the Brass Band of the House of Culture and soloists of the Academic Vocal Studio. A concert of the NVVKU Military Brass Band is planned at 19.00, and a performance by the vocal and instrumental ensemble “White Dews” at 20.00.
AT 15.00 9th May Residents and guests of the area are invited to the concert of the choir “AH Academ” by the House of Scientists.
On the left bank in the park “By the Sea of Obskogo” (Sofia Street, 15) from 13 to 17 hours a cultural program dedicated to Victory Day will be held.
At the Primorsky Palace of Culture, a children’s heroic and patriotic program will begin at 18.00Territory of peaceful childhood“, at 19.00 – memorial concert “Memory of the Heart”.
In addition, the entire week before Victory Day, the “Wall of Memory” campaign will be held at Primorsky. Citizens can bring portraits of front-line soldiers to place in the public gallery.
At the Edem shopping center at noon 9th May There will be a traditional rapid chess match “Akademgorodok-Novosibirsk”, and from 13 to 20 o’clock there will be a large cultural program.
