Deputies of the Tyumen City Duma approved 774 orders for residents of the regional center

Deputies of the Tyumen City Duma approved 774 orders from residents of the regional center. More than half of them are aimed at solving housing and communal services issues.

Deputies of the Tyumen City Duma of the VIII convocation adopted 774 orders from residents of the city of Tyumen. The list of orders from residents of the regional center to deputies of the city parliament was approved at the seventh meeting of the Tyumen City Duma of the VIII convocation on April 25. More than half of the citizens’ proposals are aimed at solving housing and communal services issues.

– The issue of accepting orders from residents was intensively discussed by deputies at a meeting of the commission and at a meeting of the Duma, because every deputy is sensitive to orders, – noted the Chairman of the Tyumen City Duma Svetlana Ivanova. – At the Duma meeting, we adopted 774 orders from residents, of which 52.2% were aimed at solving housing and communal services issues. Every citizen wants to live in a comfortable and beautiful city, so utility issues take first place in the structure of orders.

The second place in the list of residents’ orders is occupied by the topic of transport and roads. It is important for Tyumen residents that work continues to improve road infrastructure and transport services – their mobility and efficiency when moving around the city depend on this. Citizens are also concerned about issues related to parking and traffic jams in the city, so all these issues are reflected in the structure of orders from residents, says Svetlana Ivanova.

The third topic in the structure of the townspeople’s orders is related to socially significant objects and their condition and concerns the repair and modernization of schools, kindergartens and cultural institutions. About 8% of orders relate to the topic of social policy, public safety and ecology, said the chairman of the Tyumen City Duma.

– The approval of 774 orders of residents of the city of Tyumen by deputies of the Tyumen City Duma is the result of a lot of serious work, – the head of the city of Tyumen, Ruslan Kukharuk, is convinced. – The formation of orders is the result of meetings of residents of our city, first with candidates, and then with deputies of the Tyumen City Duma, this is the result of the work of citizens not only with local governments, but also with regional and federal authorities.

The mission of deputies is to accompany the aspirations, problems and initiatives of people that were voiced at meetings and, regardless of the level of decision-making – municipal, regional or even private – to help implement these initiatives, Ruslan Kukharuk is sure. Approval of the list of orders from residents is not only the basis for the deputy’s five-year work, but also the adjustment of municipal programs taking into account the wishes of citizens.

– It is very important that the opinion of citizens when forming their wishes coincides with the approaches to the work of employees of the executive and representative authorities, and this suggests that the authorities directly interact with our citizens, – Svetlana Ivanova emphasized. – As part of this communication, we clearly understand that we involve citizens in resolving issues of local importance, and this allows us to correctly identify long-term tasks for the development of our city.

In 2024, 28 resident orders are at the “finish line.” This year, the city budget provides 880 million rubles for the implementation of 47 orders of residents of the city of Tyumen. Deputies of the Tyumen City Duma intend to continue working to implement the orders of the citizens.
