A resident of Samara will be tried for a brutal attack and threat to kill – News from Samara and Tolyatti

The incident occurred back in June 2023. Then the police received reports of a beating by unknown persons near a house on the street. Elizarov, a 42-year-old local resident.

According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Samara Region, police, from the words of local residents and the victim, reconstructed the sequence of events: a man and his wife came to pick up a child who was visiting his grandmother. Unknown young people approached them on the street and rudely, using an insignificant excuse, demanded to leave the area.

After the victim’s 47-year-old wife went to the nearest store for help, one of the strangers decided not to limit himself to words, took out a pneumatic gas pistol from under his trouser belt, put the barrel to the man’s abdomen and fired a blank shot. The victim decided that the gun had misfired and, saving his life, ran to the nearest entrance. The attacker caught up with him, fired at least five blank shots, pointing the barrel at him, and then struck him in the head with a pistol and his hands. At some point, the wounded man managed to run into the entrance, but the attacker caught up with him again and continued beating him until the victim’s relative left the apartment. After which the attacker and his comrade disappeared into nearby courtyards.

The UUP identified and detained an unemployed, previously unconvicted local resident born in 2004, from whom the weapon used to commit the unlawful act was seized and sent for examination. In relation to his accomplice, the materials have been separated into separate proceedings, and the search continues.

At the moment, a criminal case with an indictment against a 19-year-old local resident has been brought to court. The young man is accused of committing crimes under paragraph a, part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and part 1 of art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Threat of murder”.
