Orenstat studied the economic indicators of the Orenburg region. Analysts concluded that industrial production in March 2024 increased by 2.9% compared to March 2023.
During the calculations, Orenburgstat takes into account the dynamics of production and service provision in the raw materials sector, manufacturing industries, heat and electricity, as well as in industries related to water supply and sanitation, waste disposal and pollution elimination.
Thus, the production index in organizations related to water supply, sanitation, organization of waste collection and disposal and pollution elimination increased by 55.4%, in manufacturing – by 18.3, in the energy sector – by 8.9%.
In the raw materials sector in March 2024, production of other minerals decreased by 0.6%. But metal ore mining volumes increased by 22.5%.
The largest decrease was noted in the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 31.3%. The energy sector fared better, with electricity generation increasing by 9.1%, production and distribution of gaseous fuels by 8.3%, steam and hot water by 8.2%.
