April 27. The prosecutor’s office is monitoring the establishment of the circumstances and elimination of the consequences of the fire on the 1st floor of the central substation building on Partizanskaya Street in Irkutsk. The causes and conditions of the incident are being clarified. This was reported by IrkutskMedia news agency with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
The fire and rescue service received a message at about 11 a.m. Fire departments are at the scene.
If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken in the field of ensuring fire safety at socially significant facilities.
The law enforcement agency also monitors the work of operational services, authorized bodies and organizations to eliminate the consequences and restore power supply, including at socially significant facilities.
