On April 26, on the eve of World Occupational Safety and Health Day in Tula, at the Tulamashzavod site, a professional skills competition was held among workers specializing in the military-industrial complex.
The participants were 12 of the strongest turners of 5 and 6 categories from 10 different enterprises in the region. One of the main objectives of the event is to popularize mechanical engineering and turning, as well as the opportunity to share experiences and make new friends.
The competition consists of several parts. The first is testing. In half an hour, participants answer 20 questions on the topic of general engineering disciplines. 3a Each correct answer can earn 0.5 points.
The second part is the production of parts in a limited time – 1.5 hours. A beginner will have to fuss with this at least twice as long. Competition parts are very different from what is manufactured for the defense industry. The main evaluation criterion will be processing skill.
The winner will be announced today. He will receive valuable prizes and the right to represent the Tula region at the All-Russian stage of the competition in Penza
