Many people know how difficult it is for people with disabilities to get to the right place – be it a hospital or a Pension Fund office. If you don’t have your own vehicle, you have to take a public one or call a taxi. But taking a taxi is not a cheap pleasure, especially if you have to travel often. And many people with disabilities are unable to use public transport.
For citizens with limited mobility, the “Social Taxi” service is available in the district. It is provided by the Comprehensive Center for Social Services.
Social taxi can be used by disabled people of groups I, II and III, disabled children, people with limited mobility and persons accompanying them. The service has passenger cars and a specialized vehicle, which is equipped with a lift necessary for the comfortable transportation of people with disabilities. To use the service, a citizen or his representative must submit an application to the institution indicating the route and time of use of the vehicle no later than 24 hours in advance, in person or by telephone.
The cost of the trip is determined in accordance with the tariffs approved by the resolution of the district administration dated July 23, 2019 No. 2113. Calling a taxi – 10.5 rublesone km of travel with a passenger – 8.5 rubles.
