Two people died in a fire in Tyumen. The fire occurred on Tyumenskaya Street.

A tragic fire happened in Tyumen last evening. The fire, which occurred at about 10 o’clock in a private residential building No. 14 on Tyumenskaya Street, claimed the lives of two people.

According to the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, at the time of the arrival of the first fire and rescue unit, fire and smoke were observed on the second floor of a residential building. Emergency Situations Ministry employees managed to extinguish the flames on an area of ​​64 square meters.

– Five units of equipment and 21 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire, – clarified by the department.

Experts say the preliminary cause of the incident was careless handling of fire. It was determined that the living space did not have an independent smoke detector that could have prevented the tragedy.

Let us remind you that not long ago a resident of the village of Ivanov, Armizonsky district, died in a fire in a private house.
