The demand for cargo transportation between Irkutsk and China.
Analysts at Avito Services talk about a significant increase in demand for cargo delivery in the direction of China, Turkey and Armenia. Over three years, demand for international cargo transportation has increased by 31%. Experts attribute this trend to the strengthening of economic ties between countries and the restructuring of production chains.
Demand for international cargo transportation between Irkutsk and China over the year increased by more than 3.7 times (+271%). This was, among other things, facilitated by the growth of trade turnover between the countries. It increased 26.3% in 2023 to a record $240.11 billion.
The greatest interest in cargo transportation between Russia and China over the year was recorded not in the Far East (19% of total demand), as one might expect, but in Krasnodar and Moscow – in these cities the share of requests in the total demand structure was 27% and 25%, respectively.
Turkey has become a new logistics hub – the demand for cargo transportation in this direction has increased almost 8 times (+700%) over the year.
In just three years, the demand for cargo transportation between Irkutsk and Kazakhstan has increased 2.5 times (+150%). Business interest in the delivery of goods between Irkutsk and Turkey has increased significantly – over three years, demand has almost doubled (+89%).
At the same time, over the course of a year – from April 2023 to March 2024 – interest in cargo transportation between Irkutsk and Armenia decreased by 44%.
At the same time, during the year – from April 2023 to March 2024 – the number of advertisements from carriers offering cargo delivery services between Irkutsk and China increased by 107%. The offer for the delivery of goods between Irkutsk and Kazakhstan has increased 10 times over three years, and the number of advertisements from contractors who transport goods to Armenia has increased six times.
