“The idea to cross such dissimilar genres as stand-up and modern dance came to Nastya Rebkalo in 2021, after the viral success of her online project @perfpaket, dedicated to memes about dance. This is how an offline project, a dance performance “stand-up stand-art practice,” arose. In it, the body positions, the quality and speed of speaking, and the way in which interaction with the viewer occurs – all this becomes a common dance!

For those who want to tickle their nerves There will be a dance horror YUSHA. As the organizers say, YUSHA is terrible. This is the dark side of the moon. It’s screaming and silence. “This is a dance performance that balances between dance of horror and “horror of dance.” The starting points are both irrational horror from literature or cinema, and the tension created by the dance itself. Film editing techniques, virtuoso mutating bodies, and the dance itself, generated by “dark physicality,” fill the space of the real and the imaginary with suspense. YUSHA plays with time, phenomena of the visible/invisible, blurs the contours of identities, reveals the breakdown of reality and confronts the viewer with what Eugene Tucker calls “the limit of thinking,” the organizers fuel the viewer’s interest.
