A special fire regime has been introduced in Saratov forests

Today, April 27, a special fire regime is being introduced on the lands of the forest fund of the Saratov region. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Roman Busargin, the press service of the head of the region reports.

From today, Saratov residents are prohibited from entering forest areas by vehicle, lighting fires in forests, burning garbage, burning grass next to forests, and conducting agricultural burning.

“Local governments should organize patrols of populated areas and SNT, prepare earth-moving equipment and equipment for the supply of water, and also carry out outreach work with the population,” officials also indicated.

The special regime in the region will last until October 31.
