The day before, the governor of the Kurgan region Vadim Shumkov and the head of the territorial department of the Russian Guard, police colonel Andrei Ivanov, held a working meeting, during which they discussed the joint tasks of the regional authorities and the law enforcement agencies, interaction on issues of ensuring security and maintaining public order in the region.

The governor conveyed his gratitude to the personnel of the regional department of the Russian Guard for the work that they, together with the police, are carrying out during the difficult flood period for the region.

Military personnel and employees of the terrorist agency successfully carry out their assigned tasks. In the first quarter of this year, employees of the private security service of the Russian Guard identified over 2.7 thousand administrative offenses on patrol routes, took part in solving about 70 crimes, and handed over to the police more than 40 people who were wanted. More than four and a half thousand objects are under the reliable protection of the private security of the Russian Guard. There were no criminal attacks against them.

Also, the personnel of the private security units, in cooperation with the police, ensured public safety and law and order during the holding of about twenty mass events in the region.

Inspectors from licensing and permitting departments conducted over two thousand inspections of civilian weapon owners, identified more than 120 violations, and removed about 250 weapons from circulation.

In addition, special forces of the regional department of the Russian Guard continue to participate in the special military operation, and also carry out assigned tasks in the territory of the Kurgan region.
