A festive event was held at the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Day of Fire Protection of Russia. Today, at the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kaluga region, a festive event was held dedicated to the 375th anniversary of the formation of the fire department of the Russian Federation.
Governor Vladislav Valerievich Shapsha, Deputy Governor Vasily Alekseevich Bykadorov, Chief Federal Inspector for the Kaluga Region of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District Igor Fedorovich Knyazev, and Mayor of the city of Kaluga Dmitry Aleksandrovich Denisov were invited to the celebration. Also taking part in the event were current employees of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
Opening the event was the Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladislav Shapsha. expressed gratitude to all employees of the fire service – veterans, whose work, knowledge and experience are still highly valued, those involved in fire prevention and, of course, those who are on the front line of fire every day.
Guests of honor also spoke with congratulations to firefighters and fire department veterans. The speakers said many warm words of sincere gratitude, as well as wishes for success and “dry sleeves” to the rescuers. In a solemn atmosphere, state and departmental awards were presented to current employees and workers of the fire service and veterans of the fire service!
