The Yaroslavl team reached the finals of the international championship “Case-in” – Yarreg

The team with the participation of YSTU students reached the finals of the student league of the main cup of the international championship “Case-in”. This is one of the projects of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”.

“The Case-in Championship is a competition among students in educational institutions of higher education to solve engineering cases dedicated to real production problems and developed based on materials from industry enterprises,” said Deputy Regional Minister of Social Communications and NGO Development Alexander Eremin. – This is not the first time that Yaroslavl residents have taken part in this competition, and they once again managed to successfully pass the qualifying stage. The direction of their work is “Mining machines and equipment”. We wish the guys success in the finals!

During the competition, teams solved cases involving the introduction of lean manufacturing principles and techniques, thanks to which technical and economic indicators should increase the efficiency of repair personnel.

In the “Mining Machinery and Equipment” direction, 19 teams participated in two streams of the qualifying round. The Yaroslavl team “Career Growth” included Yaroslavl State Technical University students Anna Petrenko, Angelina Chekalova and Daniil Kur and Yaroslavl Air Defense University cadet Artem Ogorodnikov. The scientific supervisor was the senior lecturer of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures of YSTU Anton Petrov.

The championship final will be held in Moscow on May 28 at the MISiS University.
