The regional stage of the city festival “Family of the Year – 2024” among families of kindergarten pupils and school students took place in the Leninsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. 6 families took part in the event. This was reported to the district administration.

“Participation in the festival allows children to develop a sense of pride in their family, moral values ​​and civic consciousness, as well as the need for creative development,” noted the chairman of the jury of the regional stage of the city festival “Family of the Year – 2024”, head of the education department of the Leninsky district administration Tatiana Romanova.

Chairman of the District Council of Fathers of the Leninsky District Evgeny Kalachev emphasized the important role of fatherhood and thanked the heads of families participating in the festival for their active position in life.

According to the results of the festival, a large family became the winner Gudilenkov from kindergarten No. 290, which will represent the Leninsky district at the city stage of the festival “Family of the Year – 2024”.

Previously the head of the city Yuri Shalabaev, Commenting on the start of the Year of the Family in Russia, he stated that a whole range of measures to support families with children is being systematically implemented in Nizhny Novgorod. “Despite the transfer of powers for social protection to the level of the subject of the federation, in Nizhny Novgorod there is a system of additional targeted support for certain categories of residents. At the same time, we continue to operate dairy kitchens in Nizhny, providing children in the first years of life with natural fermented milk products,” noted the head of the city.
