Today, April 27, in the match of the 6th round of LEON-Second League Championship (Division “B”, Group 1) FC “Sevastopol” won a strong-willed away victory over the “Nart” team from the capital of Karachay-Cherkessia with a score of 2:1.

It was a difficult match for Stanislav Gudzikevich’s team. And by and large, the game became a benefit for Sevastopol goalkeeper Rostislav Tyshchenko, who saved the team more than once.

In the 10th minute, Albert Kurachinov shot dangerously into touch after a pass from the flank, but Tyshchenko parried the shot. Five minutes later, Matvey Troshchenkov made an equally dangerous shot – Rostislav pulled the ball from under the crossbar. And yet, in the 25th minute, Kurachinov, having received a long pass, ran 15 meters surrounded by two Sevastopol defenders and from the area of the 11-meter mark easily hit Tyshchenko’s goal – 0:1

“Sevastopol” seemed to have the advantage and tried to carry out positional attacks, but things did not come to any particular danger. But the hosts ran very quickly into counterattacks and threatened our goal. In the 42nd minute, the hosts launched a three-on-two attack – Tyshchenko stopped Dmitry Mikhailov’s shot. On the 43rd, Grigory Tarnov hit the goalkeeper’s header from the corner under the crossbar – Tyshchenko for the corner.

According to the results of the first half of the meeting “Nart” – “Sevastopol”: ball possession – 47%-53%, shots – 5-3, shots on target – 4-1, corners – 6-0. And that’s it.

During the break, Gudzikevich made three substitutions and they practically turned the game around.

In the 50th minute, Alexander Obolentsev made a dangerous shot from outside the penalty area – the ball went just centimeters from the post. On the 61st, “Nart” once again ran into a counterattack, but Tyshchenko again pulled Kurachinov’s shot off the crossbar.

And in the 64th minute, unexpectedly, Sevastopol equalized the score. Nart defender Eddie Tsanava threw the ball to goalkeeper Nikita Pishchulin, but he waved the ball past and rolled into the goal – 1:1.

After this goal, both teams tried to snatch victory, but Sevastopol managed to earn three points. In the 89th minute, Alexander Obolentsev, after a pass from Maxim Suprun from the right flank, headed in the opposite direction, brought victory to the Sevastopol team.

After this match, “Sevastopol” (until tomorrow’s meeting “Alania-2” – “Kuban Holding”) earns 3 points and rises to 6th place in the standings with 8 points.

On May 4, as part of the 7th round, our team will host Maikop’s “Friendship” at the Sevastopol Sports Complex. The match starts at 17:00.
