In the Amur region, the court will consider a criminal case about a drug den. His defendant is a 40-year-old resident of Urushi.

“According to the investigation, a resident of the village of Urusha, Skovorodinsky district, from September 11 to October 24, 2023, provided his house to citizens who made narcotic drugs from poppy seeds and used them together with the owner of the house or in his absence,” reports the prosecutor’s office of the Amur region.

Thus, the man is accused of committing a crime, which is provided for in Part 1 of Article 232 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (maintaining a den for the consumption of narcotic drugs). The Amur resident admitted guilt in the crime. By law, this act can result in imprisonment for up to four years.
