A closed premiere screening took place in Almaty. Kinopoisk acted as the digital distributor of the film in the CIS countries. “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Affairs” created with the participation of the production center “Plus Studio”, which produces original projects of “Kinopoisk”. In addition to its own production of films and TV series, Plus Studio also co-invests in partners’ content, produces various concerts, performances, exhibitions, and creates licensed products based on its own projects.

Kinopoisk is also one of the investors in the film and the distributor of the blockbuster “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Affairs” in the CIS countries, including film distribution, digital rights and TV sales. The video service has partnered with STX and the Toff Guys, along with Amazon Prime and MGM.

In Kazakhstan, the film will be in wide release starting April 25.

It is worth noting that a team of producers from Top Gun and Pirates of the Caribbean worked on Guy Ritchie’s new film. Filming took place in Turkey and the UK, the script is based on the book by Damien Lewis. An adventurous action game about super spies who are entrusted with an impossible mission. Guy Ritchie himself admitted that he always wanted to work on a story about World War II, because he was raised on these films.

Critics compare Guy Ritchie’s new work with Inglourious Basterds, note the British man’s classic black humor and praise the acting work of Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson. They call it Ritchie’s best film since The Agents of U.N.C.L.E.
