“I’m untouchable”: Kanye West spoke out about the Adidas scandal (photo, video)

Famous rapper Kanye West spoke in detail about his collaboration with the popular sports brand. Adidas has filed a lawsuit against Kanye, who tried to freeze $75 million worth of Yeezy funds after they parted ways. He spoke about this in an interview on The Download channel.

Adidas severed ties with Kanye West in 2022 following the rapper’s repeated anti-Semitic remarks. In 2016, when representatives of the brand and the rapper were in negotiations to extend the partnership with his Yeezy brand, they were unsuccessful.

Commenting on the lawsuit, West said: “I just had more money than they thought. I’m untouchable, there’s nothing they can do or say against me. It’s just ice in my veins.”

Kanye later said he was sued for $250 million. This comes after Kanye once again hit back at Adidas during their ongoing legal dispute. In March, he posted a new video in which he criticized the sportswear company, saying they were trying to “destroy him.”

“Now we have the number one song in the world… you stole my ideas and injected them into your company. Then you dismantled my creative team and then started creating fake color schemes,” the rapper said.

He also accused the corporation of “bribing his lawyers” while he was still working with them. Kanye also mentioned that Adidas dropped him, citing a morals clause in the contract.
