The so-called “governor of Sevastopol” Mikhail Razvozhaev reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle was allegedly shot down near the airfield by means of air defense.

“There are no injuries. No one was hurt. Please keep everyone calm and get information from trusted sources,” he commented.

Belbek Airport: chronology of events

One of the first, at 22:09, was military observer Roman Bochkala to write about the next explosions in the occupied Crimea.

Later, Igor Lachenkov (Lachen) and former People’s Deputy Igor Mosiychuk wrote about the “cottons”.

“Who did this?” Lachen commented on his Telegram channel.

“News Agency” confirmed the information about the explosions, citing its sources among local residents living a few kilometers from the airfield.

“Several residents of Sevastopol and the Bakhchisarai district located near the city spoke about the sounds of explosions in the street,” the newspaper wrote.

Residents of the Sevastopol microdistrict Lyubimovka and the village of Orlovka near the city also wrote about the sounds of the explosions.

The local public “PE / Sevastopol” also reports that a series of explosions were heard in different parts of the city, and emergency vehicles drove through the streets.

Until 2014, Belbek was an international airport, but after the occupation of the peninsula, it was closed to civil aviation, completely subordinating it to the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation.

As People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko clarifies, as of March this year, Su-27, Su-27SM, Su-30M2 and Su-27M aircraft were based at the airport.

“Maybe they are no longer based,” he joked.

Earlier today, Crimean Telegram channels reported heavy smoke in the village of Mezhvodnoye in the Black Sea region. At the same time, the occupiers assured that it was “grass burning.”

Already in the evening it became known about the explosions in Kerch. According to the occupying power, air defense worked in the city.
