According to Cherevaty, at the moment the General Staff does not name the liberated cities and villages that have been returned under the control of Ukraine. The APU operation continues. The command will report on settlements after the completion of stabilization measures and when there are no attempts by the RF Armed Forces to launch a counterattack. In the Limansky direction, the operation to encircle Russian troops continues.

“Under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in fact, all the approaches, the logistical routes of the enemy, through which he supplied ammunition and manpower,” Cherevaty said.

He also added that the units of Russian troops in Liman are more prepared and motivated. In addition, the positions themselves are more fortified than in the Kharkov region. However, the Ukrainian General Staff managed to tactically beat the Russian troops through planning and precise execution of the operation.

However, it is known for sure that all the roads to the city are either captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine or are being shot through. Strelkov states that the defense of Liman is not so important and that there is no reinforced defense in general. For the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Liman is a secondary direction, but if the troops are not withdrawn, then this could be another strong blow to morale.

One of the invaders, who directly takes part in the battles, writes that the RF Armed Forces are allegedly preparing a counterattack to deblockade the Liman garrison. The same messages were written by propagandists during the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
