If cold symptoms have already appeared, you should not ignore them and be guided by logic. When the temperature rises, it is better to stay at home, rest, drink more fluids and vitamin C, and try to relieve symptoms. For example, for a sore throat, gargles and lozenges are used; for a runny nose, vasoconstrictor nasal sprays and rinses with sea water are used. Antiviral drugs, and especially antibiotics, should not be taken on your own; such drugs should always be used only as prescribed by a specialist. If your cold does not go away and symptoms persist for more than five days, it is best to consult your doctor.
