This was stated by a cardiologist Polina Kontsedailo, reports Gazeta.ru. In this case, the pain can be both burning and pressing. If you feel something like this, you cannot hesitate, you need to urgently call for help, because the task is to be under the supervision of a cardiologist as quickly as possible.

“If substernal pain radiates to the lower jaw, neck, arms – to any area from the earlobe to the navel – during physical activity, psycho-emotional stress. Also, shortness of breath, discomfort, and a feeling of fullness in the chest indicate heart problems,” Kontsedailo said, noting that such pain often indicates a myocardial infarction.

The doctor added that in this case, minutes count. The faster medical care is provided, the greater the patient’s chances of successful recovery.
