Dmitry Kuleba explained what exactly will stop the Russians in the war in Ukraine. The Foreign Minister said renewed US aid would not be enough to defeat Russia.
The minister said in an interview that Ukraine’s allies must move from expressing sympathy for Ukrainians and promising to help rebuild to preventing loss of life and destruction of the country.
Kuleba said what is needed to defeat Russia
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry explained that only the restoration of US military assistance, which was held back for months by Republicans who are supporters of Donald Trump, is not enough to defeat Russia.
Not a single package will stop the Russians. What will stop the Russians is a united front for all of Ukraine and all its partners,
– said Dmitry Kuleba.
He explained that the West must increase arms production, as Ukraine has done. After all, Russia is now producing approximately 10 times more weapons against the backdrop of a lack of air defense systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“When I see what Russia has achieved in the development of its defense industrial base during 2 years of war, and what the West has achieved, I think that something is wrong on the West’s part. The West must realize that the era of peace in Europe is over“, said the head of Ukrainian diplomacy.
He said that the peak of military-industrial production among Ukraine’s allies is expected no earlier than the end of 2024.
